editor’s letter The Next Facility Executive Of The Year By Heidi Schwartz B y the very nature of the profession, nearly every facility manager (fm) is required to accomplish some outstand-ing achievements. The stories of a few of the best in the business are shared in the pages of Today’s Facility Man-ager at the beginning of each year, and it’s time to start planning for that 2011 issue right now. (All of these past articles are posted online at http://todaysfacilitymanager.com/fea-tures/tfm-names-david-lenart-facility-executive-of-the-year.php. Each year, the magazine recognizes the accomplishments of a facility man-agement (FM) professional involved in a recent construction or renovation project (preferably completed between January 2008 and December 2009). Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by a person, agency, or member of TFM’s Editorial Advisory Board (which includes many past winners). Please note: property managers from third party firms are not eligible. Also, nominees must approve the nomination and be cur-rently employed by the company where the project took place. Nomination forms must be complete, and magazine quality photos of the nominee and project must be submitted in order for the judges to consider this entry.
